The Team

Kathy De Gersigny, Debbie Williams, Sandra Merrick, Queen Dube and Nokuthula Ndlovu, together with Dave Lewis and his "transport service" have been working with the project since its inception.

Kathy resigned because of other commitments and Jill Middlemas joined the team.
Queen and Nokuthula have also left.
Portia, a young and enthusiastic young volunteer from the community, has joined us and we look forward to working with her.

Dave lends his assistance by driving the children home, laden with food parcels, in his old truck.
Gogos and children alike squeeze in and they all set off to enjoy the scenic drive through the village.
Dave, in turn is warmly welcomed by the villagers who greet him with friendly waves and smiles as he carefully wends his way through the streets between cattle, goats and children, not to mention dogs of all colours, shapes and sizes.
The immaculate flower and vegetable gardens that some of the folk have cultivated are a pleasure to behold!
